The NHS is very busy responding to the coronavirus pandemic and, at certain times, your GP practice may need to prioritise patients with the most urgent health needs.
If you have a health issue that isn’t urgent, advice is available on the NHS website www.nhs.uk or the NHS app. Alternatively, you can speak to your local pharmacist. You can also use e-consult which is available through our practice website https://www.garwaymedical.nhs.uk
If you aren’t sure what to do, please contact the practice who can advise you on how to get the help you need.
Please continue to attend tests, vaccinations and screening WHEN INVITED.
For urgent health advice when the practice is closed, please go to www.111.nhs.uk, available 24/7, or call 111.
999 is for emergencies only.
The NHS will let you know when it’s your turn to have the COVID-19 vaccine. It is important not to contact the NHS for a vaccination before then.
WEEKENDS ONLY, 8am to 8pm: If you need NON-COVID medical help at weekends between 8am and 8pm, please call the extended hours GP service on 020 8962 4262. If you are calling outside these times, please call 111. For an appointment at this practice, please call back during our normal opening hours.
During the height of the pandemic, surgeries are not able to process any reports or subject access requests.
